Stupid Government
I should say Stupid Ass Government
In this thread you post stupid thing you see government do:

India: A town in India has suddenly been overrun by swarms of venomous spiders, leaving two people dead after being bitten.

Read more: 2 people dead after swarms of venomous spiders invade Indian town | Fox News
They are THINKING about spraying with DDT — Hello what part of deadly are you not getting.

America: Pitbulls and Rotwielers have killed over 140 people in the last few years let alone how many have been maimed and bitten. Hello maybe it is just time to
ban the breeds. Come on honey lets go for a walk - I have the 357 strapped on. I spent a year on a project in Sacramento where we lived on min 10 acre parcels. The people I
leased from had a situation where the neighbors two pit bulls got loose and attacked his wife and their two dogs. She was able to make it back home by fighting off the dogs. When her husband arrived home from work he promptly grabbed his gun and their were two less pit bulls around. Good for him. The police said no problem what so ever.

A Day at the Office with Team Yamaha (MotoGP)
MotoGP: Yamahas Flex Some Qualifying Muscle in Catalunya
With the sun shining on the Spanish track outside of Barcelona, MotoGP returns to the Iberian Peninsula for the Catalan GP this weekend. Despite seeing the factory Repsol Honda’s of Stoner and Pedrosa top the time sheets previously all week, it was the Yamahas that stole the show during qualifying*. Note that asterisks though, which stands for Casey Stoner, who continues to show the top pace, despite his retirement coming closer with every day. With …

USGP: MotoGP from Laguna Seca 2009 Results
Lorenzo in the lead on day one at Catalunya
On the opening day of the Gran Premi Aperol de Catalunya it was Yamaha Factory Racing’s local rider Jorge Lorenzo who set the fastest time of the day in sunny conditions ahead of a resurgent Álvaro Bautista. With a lap of 1.42’099, Lorenzo topped the combined timesheets of the day, ahead of San Carlo Honda Gresini’s Bautista, who was showing some tremendous form in front of his home crowd finishing as top Honda. Third place went to Monster Yamaha Tech 3’s Cal Crutchlow, who has once again been strong all weekend, and will no doubt be hunting his first ever podium this Sunday. Behind him, by just over one tenth, is his Italian teammate Andrea Dovizioso, who showed significant improvement from his eighth place in the morning session. Surprise inclusion in fifth place is Pramac Racing Team’s Héctor Barberá, who was just over half a second down on his compatriot Lorenzo. In sixth spot, Repsol Honda Team’s Casey Stoner stuck with just the hard tyre compound to work on set-up issues, and was the only rider not to go faster than in the morning session. Yamaha’s Ben Spies also showed a marked improvement over his previous outings, by finishing seventh overall, in a bid to get his season’s points challenge underway. Behind the American, Repsol Honda Team’s Dani Pedrosa also stuck with the hard tyres and could not repeat his feat of second place this morning, and had to settle for eighth. LCR Honda MotoGP’s Stefan Bradl was only marginally behind his factory counterpart, after having recovered from a small crash in the morning session. Ducati Team’s Nicky Hayden, who in the afternoon could not match his morning session’s boast of top Ducati, rounded out the top ten. Valentino Rossi’s podium last time out was not a sign of things to come, as he finished the session almost 1.5s off the top in 12th, after having switched to his second bike with different gear ratios shortly before the end of the day. Rossi, who like the Repsol Honda pair also only used the hard tyres, said afterwards that the issue was related to rear grip problems. Top CRT spot went to Power Electronics Aspar’s local rider Aleix Espargaró in 13th, no doubt buoyed by his home support. Bautista’s teammate Michele Pirro suffered mechanical problems early on and had to push his bike into the pits, while Speed Master’s Mattia Pasini crashed out of practice 14 minutes before the end. In the morning practice, Yonny Hernandez also suffered a bike failure and had to switch to his second machine. Interwetten-Paddock’s Tom Lüthi set the tone for the Moto2 contingent this weekend at the Gran Premi Aperol de Catalunya ahead of Pons 40 HP Tuenti’s Pol Espargaró. Lüthi was on the pace all weekend as he topped the timesheets in both of the day’s practices, albeit suffering a crash eight minutes before the end of the afternoon session. The Swiss rider will no doubt still be brimming with confidence though, as his time of 1.46’597 was over half a second quicker than second placed Espargaró. The local Catalan currently lies in the championship lead by one point and will be looking to put on a good show for his home crowd. Marc VDS Racing Team’s Scott Redding was also fast all day, as he was third quickest across the day, ousting Speed Master’s Andrea Iannone into fourth. Iannone secured pole position at the Catalan circuit two years ago and looks to be on good form once again, despite putting his bike into gravel earlier in the day. NGM Mobile Forward Racing’s Alex De Angelis lies just fractionally behind in fifth, ahead of S/Master Speed Up’s Mike Di Meglio in sixth. Italtrans Racing Team’s Takaaki Nakagami put in a strong showing in seventh, ousting Redding’s teammate Mika Kallio into eighth. JiR Moto2’s French rookie Johann Zarco continues to impress as he recorded the ninth quickest time, ahead of GP Team Switzerland’s Randy Krummenacher, who recovered from a crash in the morning session. Team CatalunyaCaixa Repsol’s Marc Márquez had a torrid first day at his home race, finishing the combined timesheets down in 16th. Speculation was rife that his hand injury from the previous round was to blame, yet the rider soon dismissed this and sighted set-up issues for the lack of pace. De Angelis’ teammate Yuki Takahashi suffered electrical problems on his bike early on in the second practice, but managed to head back out on track, whilst QMMF Racing Team’s Elena Rosell suffered a crash late on in the session. Rosell was unhurt in the incident. Racing Team Germany’s Louis Rossi started the Gran Premi Aperol de Catalunya in style as he set the fastest time of the Moto3 field on the first day of practice ahead of Blusens Avintia’s Maverick Viñales. Le Mans race winner Rossi set the quickest time of the combined timesheets in the second practice session of the day with a lap of 1.52’624, ousting local favourite Viñales, who was just over one tenth behind. Red Bull KTM Ajo’s Sandro Cortese was marginally behind in third, giving spectators hope of a close battle on Sunday. Estrella Galicia 0,0’s Miguel Oliveira set the fourth fastest time over half a second behind Cortese. The Portuguese rider has been in good form all day, as he looks to kick start his season after not finishing the last three races. In fifth, Cortese’s teammate Danny Kent was starting to show some of his pre-season form, as he looks to emulate his championship-leading counterpart. Sixth place is occupied by Team Italia FMI’s Romano Fenati, who, like Oliveira, will be aiming to put two unsuccessful previous rounds behind him. Bankia Aspar’s Hector Faubel will be looking to put in a good showing in front of his home crowd, as he put his machine in seventh, and is followed by AirAsia-SIC-Ajo’s Zulfahmi Khairuddin in eighth place. Ninth went to JHK T-Shirt Laglisse’s Efrén Vázquez, who was the only top ten rider to set his best time in the morning session. RW Racing GP’s Luis Salom completes the top ten. The only crasher of the day was Italian youngster Luigi Morciano, who high-sided himself of his Ioda Team Italia bike, with Technomag-CIP-TSR’s Kenta Fujii doing very well to avoid the crash. Morciano walked away from the crash unscathed.

Bou makes it four wins on the bounce
Reigning FIM Trial World Champion Toni Bou – Repsol Montesa extended his current winning run to four counting days in a row as he took a clear victory on the opening day of the Trial Grand Prix of Japan, which marks the third round of the 2012 FIM Trial World Championship. His Spanish compatriot Jeroni Fajardo – Beta, who was runner-up for the second time in a row as he confirmed his second spot on the second day at last weekend’s Australian GP was not a fluke, followed Bou home. Albert Cabestany – Sherco finished third to make the rostrum an all-Spanish affair, as he dropped three more marks than Fajardo over the two laps.Whilst there was an almost familiar pattern with the top three, the shock on this warm and sunny day was Adam Raga – Gas Gas who slumped to a season worst sixth place, and in doing so has now been overtaken by Jeroni in the general standings. Raga now holds third spot, but equal on points with Cabestany whilst Fajardo has now moved four points clear of his two Spanish rivals. However whilst these three battle to be the best of the rest, Bou sits a resounding twenty-two points ahead of the chasing pack even at this early stage in the campaign.Takahisa Fujinami – Repsol Montesa fought hard in front of his home fans, however was unable to make it on to the podium as he placed fourth on day one and four marks in front of Britain’s James Dabill – Beta who recorded his best result of the season to date with a solid fifth position. Raga’s plight could have been even worse as he clung on to sixth spot by just two marks after a day long battle with thirty-three year old ex FIM Trial World Championship rider Kenichi Kuroyama – Yamaha who celebrated his one off annual return to the series with an incredible seventh place finish.Alexz Wigg – Gas Gas made his round trip to Australia and Japan more than worthwhile as he earned a career best eighth position at the famous Twin Ring venue with a respectable total of forty-four marks. Tomoyuki Ogawa – Honda made it three home riders in the top ten as he took ninth on the day, whilst it was another British rider this time in the form of Jack Challoner – Beta who was the final of this leading group of finishers. In the Junior category it was all change at the top as Pol Tarres – JTG halted Alexandre Ferrer – Sherco winning run by taking his first victory of the season. Unbeaten in the initial four days of competition in this division, Ferrer had to settle for the third step of the podium today, as a five in the very last section of the Trial saw him beaten by Tarres and Francesc Moret - Montesa in what was a relatively low scoring affair. Ferrer still enjoys a healthy twenty-one point lead in the championship standings, though Tarres has now closed within three points of Moret who currently occupies second place in the title race.Almost emulating Bou, French Youth rider Steven Coquelin - Gas Gas extended his triumphant roll to three wins as he added victory on the first day in Motegi to the double maximum points haul he scored last weekend in Australia. However on this occasion Coquelin had to rely on a most cleans tie-break to defeat Norway’s Sverre Lundevold – Beta as they both finished on six marks apiece. Bradley Cox - Beta from Great Britain completed the Youth class top three, as these three young protagonists remain the main title contenders with Coquelin currently heading the charge from Cox and Sverre respectively. The second and final day of the Japanese stop of the 2012 FIM Trial World Championship willtake place tomorrow, as Bou looks to increase his unstoppable run.

Up-Close with the 2012 MotoCzysz E1pc
More evolution than revolution, it is easy to see the lines of the 2011 MotoCzysz E1pc peaking out from underneath the complex shapes of the 2012 MotoCzysz E1pc. Building upon the design that won his company the 2011 SES TT Zero, Michael Czysz says he has finally had time to truly address the aerodynamic aspect of his designs, though he admittedly had to make some aesthetic concessions to find the right aerodynamic package for the …

2012 Catalunya MotoGP Thursday Round Up - Of Italian Earthquakes, Ducati’s Electronics and MotoGP’s Backyard

If MotoGP can be said to have a backyard, then the Montmelo circuit just outside Barcelona is surely it. Series organizer Dorna has its offices just south of the city, and the Catalunya region - and especially the dormitory towns surrounding Barcelona - has provide a rich seam of riding talent, a seam almost as rich as its Italian counterpart surrounding the Misano circuit, comprising Cattolica, Riccione and the immediate area. So this is a home race for everyone, almost literally for some people. Where normally, nearly everyone in the paddock stays in hotels or rented accommodation, Dorna staff and some team members are now commuting to work from their homes in Barcelona.

And there are plenty of riders in more or less the same boat. Jorge Lorenzo lives in the city, Dani Pedrosa is from Sabadell, the industrial town just south of the track, while the Espargaro brothers Aleix and Pol are from Granollers, the town just a stone’s throw from the Montmelo track. The pressure is enormous, as both Dani Pedrosa and Lorge Lorenzo acknowledged in the press conference today. Media appearances go through the roof, friends, family, sponsors, business contacts, everyone wants a piece of the Spanish riders, and they barely get a moments rest. Actually riding a MotoGP bike at the limit feels like a blessed relief.
